Candidates who are preparing for the banking examination should also appear for the examinations of other departments of the Central Government such as Customs, Income Tax, GST, CBI, Railways, Insurance, Defense, etc., as the subjects of banking and all these examinations, Are the same. Educational Qualification
Exams are held only once a year to become a bank officer. Bachelor's degree from any stream, i.e. BA, BCom, BSc, BMS, BBA, BF, BMM, BFM, BCA or any other degree like BE, BTech, can be applied and no percentage is required.
Age Limit
The age of the candidates should not be less than 20 years and not more than 30 years on 01/10/2021. SC, ST have exemption up to 5 years, OBC up to 3 years, Physically handicapped up to 10 years.
Bank examination system
Candidates have to go through three stages of bank examination to reach the post of bank officer. These include Preliminary Examination, Main Examination and Interview (Personal Revelation). After passing all the three stages, you will get a score card. Based on this score card, you will be able to become an officer and management trainee in nationalized banks after getting merit in it.
1. Preliminary examination
In the pre-examination of the bank, one hour paper will be of 100 marks. There will be questions on English Grammar, Comprehension, Mathematics and Reasoning. The exam also has negative marking. 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer. Preliminary examination will be held from 04 to 11 December in Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Surat etc. centers.
2. Main examination
Only those candidates who appear in the merit list in the preliminary examination are allowed to appear in the main examination. The main examination will be held in January 2022. The main examination will have a total of 220 marks.
3. Interview
Only those who will appear in the merit list in the main examination are called for interview. His score is 100. It mainly analyzes the quick decision making power of the candidates, their mental maturity and disposition to work with understanding of the subject, all these things. In the end, after adding the marks of the main examination and interview in the final merit list, you will get a scorecard which will be valid till 31st March 2022.
