Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana (PMJJBY) Application Form in Gujarati

This is an application form for a one year life insurance plan issued by the Central Government of India. The cover under PMJJBY is for death only and hence the benefit will be given to the nominee only. PMJJBY is a pure term insurance policy that covers mortality without any death component and is renewed every year.

The PMJJBY scheme is a life cover for a fixed amount of Rs 2 lakh for an annual premium of Rs 330 and is a bank account for people in the age group of 18 to 50 years. And pays a premium of Rs.330 per person per year.

Risk cover under PMJJBY will be applicable only after the first 45 days of registration. In other words, insurers are not required to settle a claim within 45 days before the date of registration. However, deaths due to accidents will be exempted from the lien clause and will still be paid.

PMJJBY is operated by LIC and other Indian private life insurance companies. Anyone can contact their bankers as the registered banks have tied up with insurance companies. In case of multiple bank accounts held by one person in one or different banks, the person will be eligible to join the scheme through only one bank account.

Anyone between 18 to 30 years of age person can avail of this scheme. The person must need a bank account to get the benefits of this insurance policy. The policy requires a deposit of Rs 330 per year. This amount will be deducted directly from the beneficiary’s bank account every year. Under Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana eligible people get insurance up to Rs 2 lakh.
